MBSB Research stays positive on construction, eyes RM12b-RM14b rollout
MBSB Research has kept its positive stance on Malaysia's construction sector for the second half of 2026, citing an impending RM12 billion to RM14 billion public infrastructure rollout and an active data centre pipeline. The Penang LRT CMC2 contract, worth RM4 billion to RM5 billion, is targeted for award in November, while data centre awards have already hit a record RM15.58 billion this year.
