Umno open to cooperation but refuses to be tied to any party

Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said the party is open to political cooperation with any side but must not depend on or owe favours to other parties. He listed four conditions for cooperation in the context of Malay and Islamic unity, speaking at the Umno Youth, Wanita and Puteri assemblies at the World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur on 9 September.
