Malaysia's unemployment rate holds at 3.0 per cent in July 2026
Malaysia's unemployment rate stayed at 3.0 per cent in July 2026 with 520,300 unemployed people, according to the Labour Force Statistics released by the Department of Statistics Malaysia. The labour force rose to 17.37 million while the number of employed persons increased to 16.85 million. Youth unemployment for those aged 15 to 30 edged up to 6.4 per cent.
