Ringgit closes higher against most major currencies, weaker against US dollar
The ringgit closed higher against most major currencies on Friday but fell to 4.0685/0725 against the US dollar. Rising Brent crude prices and expectations of a US Federal Reserve rate hike shaped market sentiment. The ringgit also strengthened against the euro, yen, pound and most ASEAN currencies.
