Malaysia's new housing policy: loan guarantee for first-time buyers without payslips
Under Malaysia's National Housing Policy 2026-2035, the Housing Loan Guarantee Scheme (SJKP) will help first-time homebuyers without stable income or payslips, said Zulkifli Sulaiman, deputy secretary of the Housing and Local Government Ministry. Launched on August 10 by Minister Nga Kor Ming, the policy includes six focus areas, 17 strategies and 59 initiatives. It also covers measures to resolve strata management issues.
