Madrasah Al-Ma'arif plans curriculum modernisation ahead of 100th anniversary
Madrasah Al-Ma'arif Al-Islamiah will step up modernisation efforts in three key areas - teaching capacity, a digital-literate curriculum, and a meaningful learning environment - as it prepares for the next decade. Its principal, Cik Maisarah Kasim, said focus will be given to critical thinking, communication, leadership, digital literacy and AI. The all-girls religious school founded in 1936 will mark its 90th anniversary on 19 September and its 100th in 2036.
