Thailand builds 8.4km border wall with Cambodia

Thailand is building an 8.4km concrete wall along its eastern border with Cambodia, with the first phase of about 1km already fitted with barbed wire. The work follows deadly clashes in July and December last year, and Thai military officials say it aims to curb human and goods smuggling.
