Left lane at KM263.6 southbound reopens after slope declared safe

The left lane at KM263.6 of the North-South Expressway southbound, about two kilometres after the Menora Tunnel, reopened to all vehicles from 1pm today after the slope was declared safe. Perak police chief Datuk Mohd Alwi Zainal Abidin said repair work on the slope will continue. A landslide occurred at 4.30pm yesterday during heavy rain, forcing the lane to be closed temporarily.
