Sultan Nazrin: unite capital, climate and innovation for a resilient future

In a royal address at the 17th SC-OCIS Roundtable at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies in the United Kingdom, Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah urged that capital, climate action and innovation be pursued together to build a resilient and sustainable future. He warned that treating capital and climate as separate concerns has fuelled inequality and environmental degradation, and called on private capital and Islamic finance to help fund the transition.
