Police widen probe into Long Lellang helicopter crash, refuelling point under scrutiny
Police are expanding their investigation into the helicopter crash near Long Lellang STOLport in Baram, Sarawak, examining the refuelling location and the aircraft's flight path from Miri. Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mohamad Zainal Abdullah said 19 witnesses have been recorded and no cause beyond an accident has been indicated so far. The technical probe has been handed to the Air Accident Investigation Bureau, while the remains of all five victims have been claimed by their families.
