Police, CPF Board and MOM act against Axion Design over stalled renovations
Channel News Asia
Police and government agencies in Singapore are investigating interior design firm Axion Design after customers complained of unfinished renovation work and undelivered furniture, and staff complained of unpaid salaries and CPF contributions. About 20 households are affected, some owed tens of thousands of dollars, and 17 cases have gone before the Small Claims Tribunals this year. A co-founder says the company has gone bankrupt and lacks funds to finish the work or refund customers.
