Bukit Aman's traffic investigation and enforcement department recorded 446,555 summonses involving drivers aged 60 and above between 2025 and August this year. Four offences made up 82.47 per cent of the total: speeding, obstructing traffic, ignoring traffic signals and failing to control a vehicle. Its director said age-related physical and cognitive decline is among the main causes, and advised senior drivers to reassess their driving ability.
