Survey: 43% of Malaysians worry about cost of living, Gen X most regret not investing early
A survey of 1,333 users of the Versa app found 43% of Malaysians rank cost of living as their top future worry, ahead of housing affordability, healthcare costs and job security. Gen X and Baby Boomers were most likely to regret not investing earlier (64%), compared with Gen Z (60%) and Millennials (58%). The findings come ahead of the October budget, which is expected to focus on cost-of-living relief and raising household incomes.
