HLIB lifts 2026 Brent forecast to US$90, warns of US$120 on Saudi supply risk
Hong Leong Investment Bank Research raised its 2026 Brent crude assumption to US$90 a barrel from US$80, warning prices could revisit US$120 if Middle East supply disruptions deepen. It said Brent moved back above US$100 on Sept 10 amid tensions at the Strait of Hormuz and Bab-el-Mandeb and attacks on energy infrastructure, with exports through Yanbu at a six-month low.
