Dollar hits two-week high as oil prices jump on Middle East conflict
The US dollar rose to a two-week high as Middle East conflict pushed oil prices up and investors moved to safe havens. Brent crude rose 3% to US$108 a barrel after Houthi strikes on Saudi Arabia, while markets priced in a roughly 90% chance of a Federal Reserve rate hike on Wednesday.
