RM183mil Lawas Hospital completed, handed over to Health Ministry

The new RM183 million Lawas Hospital, with 76 beds, was handed over to the Ministry of Health yesterday. Works Minister Alexander Nanta Linggi said the project was delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic and now carries a two-year defect liability period. He said residents of Lawas and surrounding areas should no longer need to travel to Brunei for more specialised treatment.
