WHO to halt diesel supply to over 20 Gaza hospitals from Sept 19
Gaza's Health Ministry director-general Munir al-Bursh said the WHO will stop diesel supplies to more than 20 hospitals and health centres in the Gaza Strip from 19 September due to funding shortages. He warned that operating theatres, ICUs, ventilators and oxygen stations will be affected, endangering babies in incubators, dialysis patients and the injured. The fuel crisis stems from Israel's closure of the Kerem Shalom and Rafah crossings.
