Man jailed 13 weeks for driving while suspended, showing police another person's licence

A 31-year-old Singaporean man, Cheong Melvin, was sentenced to 13 weeks' jail, fined S$3,400 and disqualified from driving for five years after driving while suspended and showing police a screenshot of a former employee's driving licence. He had reversed into another car at Cardiff Grove in Serangoon Garden on Jan 26, 2025, and also abandoned a vehicle on an expressway after a separate crash.
