Thailand, Cambodia open UNCLOS maritime conciliation at PCA office in Singapore
Thailand and Cambodia began compulsory conciliation over overlapping maritime claims at the Permanent Court of Arbitration's Singapore office on Sept 15, with Thailand's foreign minister accusing Cambodia of hypocrisy and self-serving claims. Safety operators keep watch as driverless shuttles run in Punggol
In Punggol, 24-year-old Sherman Seng works as a safety operator for Zig Driverless, a ComfortDelGro unit, monitoring autonomous shuttle rides that began in April. He and 12 other operators watch for vehicle errors, take manual control when needed and feed problems back to engineers. Seng trained three weeks in Guangzhou before operating the shuttles.

Six men were jailed on Monday over an armed robbery at a luxury bungalow in Singapore's King Albert Park area in 2024, in which $4.9 million in assets were stolen. The gang fled Singapore immediately and moved the loot to Malaysia. A seventh suspect is still at large and is believed to be in Thailand.

Grab to grow AV fleet to 50 vehicles, expand beyond Punggol
