HLIB: AI use may raise demand at Malaysian hospitals
Hong Leong Investment Bank says growing use of AI chatbots for health questions could push more Malaysians to seek treatment earlier, lifting demand for hospital services. The bank cites overseas surveys showing high adoption across age groups and notes many Malaysian conditions remain under-diagnosed.
