Industry executives at the Gastech conference in Bangkok expect China and India's LNG imports to recover from multi-year lows once the Middle East supply crunch ends and prices ease. The US-Iran war has blocked Qatari and Emirati LNG exports through the Strait of Hormuz, pushing Asian spot prices to nearly US$30 per MMBtu from around US$10 before the conflict.
