Wife tells Sabah corruption court she knew of RM275,550 deposits
In the Special Corruption Court in Kota Kinabalu, the first wife of former Sabah Railway Department chief engineer Ismail Ahmad testified that she knew about RM275,550 deposited into their joint HSBC account in 2016 but denied the money came from unlawful sources. Muhilim @ Masniah Buaya also admitted signing RM900,000 in personal loan agreements and failing to declare at least 10 properties to Yayasan Sabah.
