Indonesian man jailed a month for dropping cigarette butt in Stulang

An Indonesian general worker became the first person in Malaysia jailed for littering a cigarette butt under the Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Act 2007. He failed to pay a RM1,000 fine and was sentenced to a month from Aug 28, followed by six hours of community service. The offence took place around Stulang, Johor, in February.
