Northern Corridor blueprint targets RM470bil cumulative investment by 2030
The Northern Corridor Economic Region launched its 2026-2030 strategic blueprint in Kuala Lumpur, aiming for RM470 billion in cumulative investment by 2030, RM126.2 billion more than the previous phase. Economy Minister Akmal Nasrullah said the plan targets RM369 billion in northern GDP, a median household income of RM7,500 and 310,000 jobs across Perlis, Kedah, Penang and Perak.
