Aryna Sabalenka was fined US$7,500 (RM30,450) after hitting a ball toward spectators and smashing her racket during her US Open final defeat to Elena Rybakina at Flushing Meadows. The loss also saw Rybakina take the world number one ranking from Sabalenka.
