Strait of Hormuz transits fall to four as regional attacks intensify

Vessel transits through the Strait of Hormuz dropped to four on Tuesday, down from seven a day earlier and far below the 10-day average of 18, preliminary shipping data showed. The waterway handled a fifth of the world's oil and LNG supply before the Iran war, and attacks in the region have cut traffic. Two laden ships entered and two exited, with no very large crude carriers or LNG tankers among them.
