Nancy Shukri: Parents must be firm in stopping underage children from driving

Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri urged parents to be firmer in preventing underage children from driving or riding vehicles. She said prevention must start at home and parents should openly discuss the dangers of driving without a licence with their children. Nancy said her ministry will wait for the police report and investigation before deciding whether negligence or other elements warrant action against parents, following a case involving a 14-year-old boy who was involved in an accident after driving a car.
