2026年沙巴州级马来西亚日庆典将于9月9日至11日在哥打京那巴鲁的Palm Square, Centre Point举行马来西亚日展览，随后于9月16日在沙巴国际会议中心（SICC）举行主要活动。助理旅游、文化及环境部长Andi Md Shamsureezal Mohd Sainal表示，庆典旨在帮助青年了解马来西亚的成立及沙巴的角色，并邀请了来自沙巴六所高等教育机构的300名学生参加。
