Elderly man hits accelerator by mistake, three injured in Pandan Perdana
An 89-year-old man accidentally pressed the accelerator while parking his car at Jalan 4/8 Pandan Perdana, Ampang Jaya, yesterday. Kajang police hunt two men who fled check and rammed MPV
Police in Kajang are tracking two men who fled after being stopped for inspection by an MPV patrol unit on Jalan Semenyih near the Kajang Prima traffic lights yesterday afternoon. The green Proton Wira hit a Perodua Ativa before ramming the police MPV, damaging its front right door, but no one was injured. The case is being investigated under Section 186 of the Penal Code and police are asking the public to come forward with information.

The Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court has ordered Gulati's Silk House owner Pavitar Singh Manjeet Singh and Nor Imran Nordin to enter their defence on charges of abetting grievous hurt against former judge Jagjit Singh Bant Singh. The screwdriver attack occurred near Solaris Dutamas on 19 Oct 2023 and is believed to have stemmed from a family dispute. Two other attackers were sentenced to seven years' jail after a prosecution appeal.

Court sets 15 trial days from July 26 for former Armed Forces chief

Kajang police said early investigations indicate the 37-year-old local driver is believed to have fallen asleep at the wheel, not driven drunk as claimed in a viral video. No injuries were reported and the case is being investigated under Rule 10 LN 166/59.

Man who robbed RM150,000 in gold in Klang arrested in Brickfields
A 28-year-old gold bar courier was robbed at a homestay in Taman Sri Andalas, Klang, on Tuesday night when the suspect fled through the back door with 70 pieces of gold worth RM150,000. Police arrested a 57-year-old man at a hotel in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, less than 24 hours later and recovered all the gold. The suspect, who has seven previous criminal records, is remanded for four days and investigated under Section 380 of the Penal Code.

Two killed in two-vehicle crash on Jalan Kuantan-Maran

Woman hurt as car flips after hitting raised road fixture in Petaling Jaya

Man fined RM2,000 for stealing 65 items from Subang Jaya supermarket
A 39-year-old man was fined RM2,000 by the Shah Alam Magistrate's Court after pleading guilty to stealing 65 items worth RM730.97 from a supermarket in Subang Jaya on 20 December last year. Mohd Aslizan Mustafa Maarof was also ordered to serve 10 days in jail if he fails to pay the fine.
