Five Orang Asli freed on police bail after Tasek Bera forest reserve arrests
Five Orang Asli, including four women aged 30 to 65, were released on police bail after being arrested for allegedly obstructing an enforcement team at the Tasek Bera Conservation Forest Reserve in Pahang. They were detained during a joint operation under the National Forestry Act 1984 aimed at curbing land encroachment, and are being investigated under Section 186 of the Penal Code.

SWCorp Pahang: litterbugs offer higher fines to avoid community service
In Kuantan, SWCorp Pahang said some littering offenders tried to pay higher fines rather than carry out community service orders, including cleaning drains. A total of 3,295 notices were issued across Pahang from 1 January to 14 September, with about 200 offenders ordered to do community service in four districts.
