Female drummer Naimi Daini will make a special appearance at the Awie Rock King - Last Man Standing 2026 concert at Stadium Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur tomorrow. Selangor overall champions of Para SUKMA 2026, Amirudin hopes athletes reach world title
The closing ceremony of Para SUKMA 2026 was held at the Selangor International Trade Centre (STIC), with Selangor emerging as overall champions for the first time since the games began in 1982. Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said he hopes national para athletes will go on to become world champions, and noted the age limit of under 40 for athletes. Selangor collected 93 golds, 55 silvers and 52 bronzes, followed by Sabah and Sarawak.

Dang Wangi police seized 51.686kg of MDMA powder worth RM7.75 million in a raid on a condominium unit at Jalan Ceylon, Kuala Lumpur on 19 August. Five people were arrested, including two male and two female foreign nationals and one local man, and all suspects were charged in court on 2 September.
