11 SMART members depart for Nepal for flood and landslide SAR mission
Eleven members of Malaysia's Special Malaysia Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (SMART) departed from the TUDM Subang Air Base to Nepal to assist in search and rescue operations following floods and landslides. Group urges regular safety audits of highway structures after NKVE gantry collapse
The Alliance for a Safe Community has called for regular safety audits of structures along highways nationwide after a large structure fell across the NKVE near Shah Alam, blocking all northbound lanes. Customs seize 722kg of drugs worth RM43 million in four Selangor raids
