His father, Bee Sham Ahmad, said his son was deeply loved by people in rural Sarawak for his commitment to bringing health services to them through the Air Doctor Service. The family is leaving the investigation into the helicopter crash to the authorities.

Muhammad Akmal Yazali, 22, from Melaka, received his Electronics Engineering (Computer) diploma from Politeknik Merlimau Melaka with a 3.81 GPA despite living with Marfan syndrome and scoliosis. Toddler rescued after locking himself inside Honda in Malacca
A three-year-old boy was rescued safely after he became trapped inside a parked Honda in Taman Malacca Baru, Batu Berendam, Malacca, when the car doors locked automatically. Ten firefighters from the Malacca Tengah fire station arrived within eight minutes and freed the child, who was unharmed and returned to his parents.

Malayan tapir dies after being hit by car near Terachi
A 250kg male Malayan tapir was struck by a car at Km24 of Jalan Seremban-Kuala Pilah near the Terachi police station late last night. It suffered a broken front leg and internal injuries, and was confirmed dead this morning. The carcass was taken to the Jempol Perhilitan office for disposal under standard procedures.
