About 70 per cent of the building was affected and a Perodua Viva was 20 per cent damaged, but no casualties were reported. The fire was brought under control at 5.31pm and the cause is under investigation.

    The Sessions Court in Klang ordered a logistics company and two warehouse operators to pay RM730,000 to Fadzil Aziz Motor Sdn Bhd after a Range Rover was stolen from a warehouse in Westports, Pulau Indah. Judge Nurul Mardhiah Mohammed Redza found the three defendants negligent for leaving the vehicle unlocked with keys inside and the warehouse doors open. The court also rejected QBE Insurance's argument that its policy did not cover the theft because there was evidence the fence was cut.
