    Singapore's Land Transport Authority said on Sept 4 that the Woodlands North station on the Johor Bahru-Singapore RTS Link is complete, keeping the line on track to start passenger service in 2027. The 4km link will join Bukit Chagar in Johor Bahru to Woodlands North, where travellers can transfer to the Thomson-East Coast MRT Line, with capacity for 10,000 passengers an hour each way. Transport Minister Anthony Loke said Malaysian-side station and rail infrastructure is finished and integration testing between the two countries has begun.

    A burst underground pipe in Bukit Batok early on Sept 12 temporarily cut water supply to three blocks, including a home and 11 shophouse units. The town council isolated the pipe, restored supply to the home, and installed a temporary surface pipe for commercial units. Repairs are expected to take two to three days.

The rules group play into physical, creative and social categories, and the first playground built to them, the Kingfisher, is coming to 628 Woodlands Ring Road as part of an estate upgrade. Other Woodlands playgrounds, including a chicken-themed one at 619 Woodlands Drive 52 and a crab tower at 631 Woodlands Ring Road, are also planned.
