A 68-year-old retired Malaysian army officer, Yahya Hashim, who holds a Datuk title, was charged in a Melaka court on Sep. 4 for allegedly molesting a 20-year-old female golf caddie. The alleged incident occurred on Aug. 25 at the Tiara Melaka Golf & Country Club in Ayer Keroh. Yahya pleaded not guilty and was granted bail of RM2,500.
