He had been picnicking with eight friends before falling into the stream while holding a rope. Fire and rescue teams from Muadzam Shah, Pekan and Kuantan took part in the search.

4. Indian woman, 65, drowns after falling from boat at Pulau Tioman

   A 65-year-old Indian tourist was found drowned after falling from a boat in the waters off Pulau Tioman today. Sabiya Shiek slipped while climbing the boat ladder after a Discover Scuba Diving activity near Pulau Renggis and was pronounced dead at Tekek Health Clinic. Her body was sent to Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital in Kuantan for a post-mortem.
