Health Ministry tightens air cargo controls with customs, border agency to fight drug smuggling
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad announced a strategic collaboration between the Health Ministry, Royal Malaysian Customs Department and the Border Control and Protection Agency to tighten controls on cargo and air entry points to combat illegal medicine smuggling. Nationwide seizures of illegal medicines reached RM132.4 million from 2023 to 2025, with Sabah accounting for nearly RM4.507 million.

Three injured in early morning collision in Inanam
Three men were injured when a Perodua Myvi and a Toyota Hilux collided at Lorong Iramanis Centre, Kolombong, Inanam, early Saturday. Firefighters from the Lintas station extricated the men, who were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital II for treatment. The driver of the Hilux was unhurt.
