Negeri Sembilan strengthens research cooperation on history and heritage
The Negeri Sembilan state government wants to strengthen cooperation with experts and scholars in historical and heritage research. Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim said the effort requires expert views, studies and data to document the state's knowledge treasures. He said this at the International Seminar on Za'ba and Hamka Thought in Seremban attended by 300 participants from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Brunei.

Four boys drowned retrieving football in Taman Desa Kayangan drain; all dead

Three held over attempted cable theft at Jalan Reko, Kajang
Police arrested three men, aged 25 to 46, over an attempted cable theft near a traffic light junction along Jalan Reko in Kajang at about 4am today. Two suspects tested positive for methamphetamine and all three will be brought to the Kajang Court tomorrow for a remand application.

Box with toy blocks destroyed by bomb squad in Bandar Baru Sri Petaling
A suspicious plastic box found in front of a shoplot in Bandar Baru Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, was destroyed by a police bomb disposal unit on Monday afternoon. Initial checks showed a high radiation reading, prompting the deployment of the Bomb Disposal Unit and the Bukit Aman CBRNE unit, but the Malaysian Nuclear Agency later confirmed no radioactivity. The box contained colourful toy building blocks and police are investigating the case as criminal intimidation.

Penang student enters USM after caring for sick mother and siblings
Muhammad Adam Iskandar Azharunaim, 20, has begun his undergraduate studies at Universiti Sains Malaysia after years of caring for his cancer-stricken mother and three siblings, one of them disabled. His father died of Covid-19 five years ago and his mother died on 24 August. He had earlier turned down a place at UIAM and chose Form Six to stay with his family.

Negri Sembilan DKU declares April proclamation invalid
The Negri Sembilan Dewan Keadilan dan Undang has declared the April 19, 2026 proclamation on the abdication of Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir unconstitutional and invalid. Its secretary said three of the four signatories did not hold the position of Undang at the time and no full inquiry was conducted as the state constitution requires. MIROS proposes regular health checks for elderly drivers

Police: Viral Cyberjaya barrier push was done with Tamarind Square management's permission

He was among 1,195 graduates at PMM's 24th convocation in Port Dickson, and will continue his bachelor's degree at UTHM.
