Hotel room used as 'dental clinic', woman fined RM240,000

A 23-year-old woman was fined RM240,000 by the Temerloh Sessions Court for operating an unregistered dental clinic in a hotel room in Jerantut. She was arrested during a raid in June 2024 while providing orthodontic services without proper registration. The court found her guilty under the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998.
