Unregistered dentist fined RM240,000 for operating illegal clinic in hotel room

A 23-year-old woman was fined RM240,000 by the Sessions Court for running an unregistered dental clinic in a hotel room in Jerantut. The raid, conducted in June 2024, found dental equipment and evidence of braces consultations. She was charged under the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998.
