KPKM to focus on El Nino preparedness in 2027 Budget
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security will prioritise allocations for agri-food sector preparedness against the El Nino phenomenon in the upcoming 2027 Budget. Minister Mohamad Sabu said the funds are needed to help farmers and agri-food operators deal with hot weather and drought, including providing inputs like fertiliser and technology.
