MyKad Issuance to Face Temporary Delay During Government Transition to New Version
The National Registration Department (JPN) will temporarily delay MyKad issuance and replacement services from Sept 1 to 7 as it transitions to the new-generation MyKad. The department advises non-urgent applicants to postpone their transactions, especially first-time applicants like children turning 12.
