UMNO Youth chief Muhammad Akmal Saleh has demanded the government explain why nearly RM1 billion in approved allocations for Rural and Regional Development Ministry (KKDW) projects have not been disbursed. He claims contractors who have completed work are facing delayed payments of up to four months, pushing some towards bankruptcy. He has called on Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to provide an explanation.
