Sultan of Pahang orders stepped-up flood prevention, action on illegal land encroachment
The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah, has ordered the state government and relevant agencies to intensify flood prevention efforts, including cleaning and deepening drains in flood-prone areas and ensuring flood mitigation projects are completed on schedule. He also instructed them to take more effective action against illegal land encroachment across Pahang. The Sultan made these remarks during an appointment ceremony at Istana Abdulaziz in Kuantan.
