Malaysia continues to intensify economic cooperation with Japan
Malaysia's two-way trade with Japan rose 11.8% to US$23.3 billion in the first seven months of 2026. Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani said Japan remains a key trading partner and investor, and Malaysia aims to deepen economic cooperation. He was speaking at the 43rd MAJECA-JAMECA Joint Conference.
