RM200 million grant to help inject capital for small traders
The Malaysian government will introduce a RM200 million grant, Geran Sejahtera Madani, to help small traders, hawkers, and home-based businesses with capital. The announcement was made by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim as part of six initiatives for National Day. Small traders in Kuala Terengganu welcomed the grant, saying it will ease their financial burden.
