Bangladesh offers cash incentive for rooftop solar with batteries
Bangladesh has launched an incentive programme for rooftop solar systems with battery storage to ease power shortages and reduce reliance on imported fuels. Consumers who install eligible systems by February 2027 will receive a payment for surplus electricity fed into the national grid for three years.
