Medical negligence during boy's circumcision: Private clinic ordered to pay RM360,000
A Malaysian court has ordered a private clinic in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, to pay RM359,122.90 in damages for medical negligence that caused severe injury to a boy during a circumcision procedure in 2023. The court found the clinic's negligence led to permanent scarring and the need for further surgery, and also dismissed the clinic's defamation suit against the boy's mother.
