MMEA detains two vessels, seizure worth RM260 million
The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) detained two vessels suspected of unauthorized ship-to-ship activities in Malaysian waters off Tanjung Buai, near Kota Tinggi, Johor, early yesterday morning. The seizure includes an estimated RM260 million worth of oil cargo, and the vessels and crew are being investigated under the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1952 and the Customs Act 1967.
